Corset | Royal Worcester Corset Co. | c. 1876
Known as the ‘Bon Ton’, this corset was awarded the bronze medal at the Centennial Exposition. The fine embroidery representing traditional motifs of oak leaves and wheat ears symbolize well-being and prosperity. During this period, a woman’s dress was very representative of her class and so having an embellished undergarment with these motifs would be most fitting. (Metropolitan Museum)

Actor Lance Gross posed for pictures at the Lottery Ticket Hollywood movie premiere in Tom Ford sunglasses and a pair of Nike Air Jordan Retro 13 Premio sneakers. With only 1,734 pairs distributed between China, Europe, Japan and Canada, these sneakers are very limited. The good news is they’re expected to be released tomorrow, August 14, 2010 in Japan. The bad news is there’s no word if and when they’ll hit the U.S., so if you want these you better have solid connections or have friends at Nike, like my man Lance
